At the beginning, there is a scene of four teenagers. Two are making out. The other two are exploring an old house.

During one scene we see, briefly, Trevor on top of Nina. He's bare-chested, and she's wearing a bra. They are both startled when Sarah walks in on them and we see them get dressed quickly.

We see the inside of a house we see blood splattered on the walls, blankets, floor, appliances, then two corpses fall from behind a curtain and land on the floor. The camera rests on them for a few seconds. Their flesh is torn from their faces/bodies.

A man on a hospital bed suddenly falls into a coma-like state. His eyes glaze over, and his flesh begins to turn bloody(he is turning into a zombie). He attacks his daughter, but misses. He then proceeds to attack his wife, and tears a piece of flesh from her face. It's one of the more graphic parts.

A woman is viciously attacked by two zombies, but not much is shown. The zombies are then electrocuted, and light on fire, but appear to be oblivious to it, still eating away at the corpse.

A man is eaten by many zombies. He reanimates as a zombie, missing both his legs.

Many times we see main street or other areas in the town, which are overrun by zombies. Some are on top of cars, some are attacking people in the streets, etc.

A zombie is hit by a car, tumbles over two other cars, and we hear bones cracking on the pavement, but he walks away unphased.

A man, turned into a zombie, eats a teenage girl off-screen, but part of her skin is thrown off into view.

A sharp item is jabbed into a zombie's head.

Some zombies who are vegetarian gets eaten by zombies who aren't.

A zombie bites a womans face off.

Zombies are shot, stabbed, decapitated, run over, and burned.

A man is pulled up into the ceiling by a zombie. His mutilated, gory corpse then drops down in front of the camera.

Many people are eaten by zombies, mostly off-screen.

"F**k" is used 20 times.

Other milder swearwords such as "shit" are also used occasionally.

The zombies could be scary to young children or someone who is not used to graphically gory movies.

There are a few jump scenes.

The movie was made to be frightening, so there is constantly a lot of eery music and buildup to scare scenes.

Overall, it has a creepy aura.

At the end of the movie, one zombie jumps on the screen. This scene part is jump-out-of-the-seat.

MPAA:
Rated R for strong pervasive horror violence and gore, and language
