Texas Chainsaw 3D will be opening in the Us on the first weekend of the New Year, and from what we’ve seen so far, it’s going to be a brilliant horror to kick off the first weekend of the year.

The first trailer landed back in September, and with its release now really just a matter of weeks away, Lionsgate have released a new sixty-second trailer, along with the first TV spot.

“Lionsgate’s Texas Chainsaw 3D continues the legendary story of the homicidal Sawyer family, picking up where Tobe Hooper’s 1974 horror classic left off in Newt, Texas, where for decades people went missing without a trace. The townspeople long suspected the Sawyer family, owners of a local barbeque pit, were somehow responsible. Their suspicions were finally confirmed one hot summer day when a young woman escaped the Sawyer house following the brutal murders of her four friends. »

Texas Chainsaw 3D will be returning us to the massacre of the cult-classic horror once more in the New Year, and after a great first trailer back in September, we’ve got plenty to be excited about.

Leatherface will be back terrorising another group of unsuspecting youngsters, and that’s definitely something to look forward to.

We saw the Us motion poster land earlier in the week, in time for Halloween, and now we’ve had the UK quad variant sent our way, with our beloved killer once more taking centre stage.

New York Comic-Con is kicking off tomorrow, and one of the movies that will be at the convention is the upcoming Texas Chainsaw 3D, the horror reboot that picks up where the original 1974 film left off.

Ahead of its appearance in New York, an old-school new poster has debuted over at FEARnet, and if you’re going to the festival, you can get one of these limited-edition posters, with star Alexandra Daddario on hand to sign it for you.

We caught the brilliant first trailer last month, promising plenty of terrors and chainsaw-wielding awesomeness coming our way soon.
