A young man allows his curiosity to get the better of him. By get the better, I mean he forgets the cardinal rule of urban life, "Don't get involved." He sees a DVD stuck to the back of a traffic light. Instead of just leaving it there, he takes it home and watches it, thereby making himself a target for the bogeyman. Overtones of The Ring, right? The urban legend rules dictate that one thing you must never do is to open the box, unlock the secret door, answer the phone when you're home alone. Didn't our childhood scary stories such as Pandora and Bluebeard teach us anything? Psychologists tell us that involvement in the world around us, involvement with others, is necessary for mental health. Experience tells us that is the road to destruction. Who are you going to believe? You can believe me when I tell you that this is a very enjoyable, intriguing short film. When something is good, you'd like it to last longer, but this film couldn't be one second longer. It is a small, perfectly cut, well-polished gem.
