Things You Don't Tell is a thriller with three stories all interlocking.
A married man and his strained relationship with his mistress, a mentally ill mother on the run with her kids & a guy taking his comic book persona a bit too far.
The way they connect is decent enough but none of the stories are exactly enthralling.
The first thing that bugged me is that it's the latest in a long line of movies to feature a cheating protagonist. Why is this okay? Why am I supposed to care about this character? I have no idea why this is in so many movies but its very frustrating and very damaging.
Things You Don't Tell isn't terrible it's just one of those generic movies you'd see on Lifetime.
The Good:
The three stories do blend very well
The Bad:
None of the characters are even remotely likable
Things I Learnt From This Movie:
Society is clearly okay with cheering on people who cheat on their partners
Doesn't take much for a movie to constitute as a "psychological thriller"
