Quotes

Kevin Beekin: [Kevin is planning to go undercover as a homosexual] I don't know if I'm believable as a gay.
Marty Shonson: Well, a lot of your fan mail does say "Kevin Beekin is a homo."
Kevin Beekin: I'm gonna have to get inside the mind of a gay. Like, where do gays go?
Tillie Sullivan: Uh, I think you could be a gay ordering food at a restaraunt. Start there.
Kevin Beekin: Do they do that?
Tillie Sullivan: I would assume so, right?
Marty Shonson: Sure.
Kevin Beekin: I don't know... what do they order?
Tillie Sullivan: I don't know. Marty, find out what gay people eat.
Marty Shonson: You got it.

Please, no more mockumentaries!
11 June 2006 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I am positive that if all of the good mockumentaries didn't exist, this wouldn't. The characters and style are translucent rip-offs of a lot of other TV programs I actually enjoy watching. I was bored watching this, and the entire fake-news comedy is barely involved in the show. The creators would probably say that this relationship between the two ex-lovers was a satire, but I think the show actually wants it to be like a daytime soap. Mockumentaries are hard to have laugh out loud jokes and this doesn't really know that. "Dog Bites Man" thinks all of the obnoxious jokes that you see a lot on "Family Guy" and in the Monty Python movies are actually funny. They aren't. Save your time, this is too boring, watch something else at 10:30.

Thumbs down.
