Loses something in Translation

Obviously, this movie was produced for a strictly Chinese audience, and there are things in it that probably make no sense to a westerner. Even the name of the lead character is unintentionally funny.

The story begins with a task force of guys in protective suits crawling into a sewer in Hong Kong to destroy a batch of eggs. One of the eggs escapes, and changes from a snake to a really hot naked chick. She is found by a widower with an unhealthy fear of cats (insert joke about Chinese food here!) which has left him impotent.

Meanwhile, his no-account cousin plots to have him killed in order to inherit his money while the cousin's girlfriend suspects that the snake babe might be a snake babe. What ensues is a thriller that's not very thrilling.
