Well, not quite. However, they will be playing DC superheroes for a new short film that's part of the comedic anthology Peter and Bobby Farrelly directed called Movie 43. The film will be broken up into several short films (most -- or all -- of which are dirty and over-the-top silly) starring all sorts of familiar names (like Emma Stone, Gerard Butler and Hugh Jackman, among others). Speaking to Leslie Bibb on the set of her new horror movie, Collider learned that her segment in the Farrelly film will follow a bunch of dysfunctional superheroes (most of whom also happen to be members of the Justice League) and was inspired by the short Robin's Big Date, which starred Sam Rockwell as Batman and Justin Long as Robin (watch it below). Long will be reprising his...

While on the set of Takashi Shimizu’s upcoming airplane based horror film 7500, I got to sit down with a few other journalists and Leslie Bibb. We’ll have the full set report closer to the film’s release date, but today we have a little scoop on her upcoming role as Wonder Woman. Seriously. Kinda. Bibb plays the superhero in a segment of Peter and Bobby Farrelly's comedy anthology Movie 43. Her short features Jason Sudekis as Batman, Bobby Cannavale (The Other Guys) as a "jacked-up" Batman, Kristen Bell as Supergirl, and John Hodgman as Penguin. Hit the jump to see what Bibb had to say about her stint as Wonder Woman and the segment as a whole (which also stars Justin Long and Uma Thurman), and to watch the original short that inspired their version called Robin's Big Date. Question: You’re in a new film called »

Opens: 2011
Cast: Gerard Butler, Michelle Monaghan, Michael Shannon, Madeline Carroll, Kathy Baker
Director: Marc Forster
Summary: After finding God, drug-dealing biker Sam Childers renounces his outlaw ways and embarks on a spiritual path, becoming a crusader for hundreds of desperate and helpless children who were being forced to become soldiers in war-torn southern Sudan.
Analysis: Despite taking the freshly rejuvenated James Bond franchise and nearly destroying it with the very disappointing "Quantum of Solace", German-Swiss filmmaker Marc Forster still has a decent amount of good will left thanks to strong earlier efforts like "Monster's Ball," "Finding Neverland," "Stranger Than Fiction" and "The Kite Runner".
Now, in his first film since that Bond outing, Forster returns to serious drama with this true story tale of a biker who became a humanitarian crusader for children in the Sudan. The story itself is fascinating, the born again Sam Childers and »

In the days leading up to the release of Iron Man 2, director Jon Favreau revealed that, before Robert Downey Jr. landed the role that reignited his languishing career, acclaimed character actor Sam Rockwell was once in consideration to play the "Armored Avenger," Tony Stark, in Iron Man.
Even though he didn't end up going with Rockwell for the part of Stark, Favreau kept him in mind and ended up casting Rockwell as Justin Hammer, a darker, less capable reflection of Tony Stark in the sequel, a part Rockwell nailed. Apparently, his near brush with becoming a super-actor has left Rockwell wanting, as he recently admitted to Empire magazine (via WorstPreviews) that he is itching to play a character with superhuman powers on the big screen.
I'd love to play a superhero. I know it'd take some doing to convince some people but I think I'd be a great one. »

Sam Rockwell was on the short list to play the lead role of Tony Stark in the original "Iron Man" film, but the role eventually went to Robert Downey Jr. Rockwell later returned in the sequel, but never got the chance to do anything "super." He now tells Empire magazine that he would one day like to play a superhero. "I'd love to play a superhero. I know it'd take some doing to convince some people but I think I'd be a great one," said Rockwell. "I've played Batman in 'Robin's Big Date', but I've never had superpowers and I'd love to get some. It's about time." He added that it would be challenging for him to play a fearless action star. "In real life, everything makes me nervous," said the actor. "I'm scared of everything. Even going to the bank." Question: Which superhero would Rockwell be perfect to play? »
