Has to be the best beat-em-up game ever!
19 November 2005 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

The warriors is a new game made by the famous gaming publisher Rockstar games. Like all other titles from Rockstar games, The warriors is pretty violent and bloody. But it also has an outstanding game-play.

The warriors is a beat-em-up game. Not like the other beat-em-ups, The warriors shows a lot of variety into the game. There is more then just beating on people in this game.

First of all, like i said, the game-play is just remarkable. There is very cool moves that your characters can perform while fighting, and there is a GREAT gang system. The single player holds over 20 very cool missions to complete. The story is also great. It does not only show scenes of the movie, but it shows everything that happened before the beginning of the movie. You can do these missions, playing multi-player with a friend, which is a great addition to the game.

Remember, Rockstar games made this game, so if you want violence, well, you will be served by playing The warriors. The punches and combo's that fighters perform just makes you feel the pain. There is also a lot of blood. In the game, you can use about anything to fight against enemies. So can they. You can use: baseball bats, broken bottles, bricks, garbage cans, meat cleavers, blades and almost anything nearby.

The sound in the game is also pretty neat. Actors from the original movie gave their voices to create this video game. The music goes well with the game too.

The downs of this game, is that when you are done with the missions, you can unlock a few things, but then, the game is over. There is a multi-player mode, but it is not that fantastic. The graphics of the game, or not the best I have seen, but they are still good.

Anyways, The warriors is without a doubt the best Brawler game ever. There is a lot of variety, great action and a great story. This game is nearly flawless to me.

I will give it 9/10.

All Rockstar games fans, or fighting games fans, I recommend this game to you!
