Quotes

Billie Joe Armstrong: As soon as we wrote
[the song]
Billie Joe Armstrong: 'American Idiot' we kind of looked at each other like, 'This is... this is better.' We set that bar and then we sort of looked at ourselves like, 'Okay, now we have a mountain to climb.'

Too much hysteria
9 February 2006 | by (Argentina) – See all my reviews

In my opinion in 'Bullet' they get a little addicted to massive hysteria, in excess: in almost every song from the show Billie Joe makes the audience shout different kind of chants, showing how much he controls his fans.

Without that, they could have added at least 5 more songs to the DVD, and maybe some from their earlier records. Their catalogue from the pre-Dookie era (e.g. 'Going to Passalacqua'!) is completely absent...

But anyway, I'm a huge fan of Green Day too, they changed my life from the first minute I listened to 'Dookie', and 'Bullet...' is a must-see for every fan.
