Storyline

The story of a young man forced to deal with the long forgotten past. Jesse, a hardened young man, encounters Alex, a Gospel preaching stranger, while watching over his younger brother, Andy, on a desolate beach. After dismissing the religious rhetoric and realizing Alex's true identity, Jesse reluctantly engages a conversation with him, his long estranged father, placing Andy in danger. As Alex attempts to reconcile with him, Jesse confronts and threatens him, but the reunion ends abruptly with a rather unfortunate result. Written by Adam Schlachter

Adam Schlachter
6 March 2008 | by See all my reviews

Adam Schlachter films are not just well written and directed but also entertaining. If only Adam could write more for Hollywood the world would be exposed to a major talent that's still undiscovered! I have viewed most of his films and can honestly say this writer director has so much to offer. My favorite is "My Backyard Was A Mountain" it's a well written story that captures you from start to end… leaving you with that feeling of wanting more. "Father Figure" is another example of Adam's great story telling and directing. "The Stain On The Sidewalk" is touching and deep. Adam can write from many perspectives and that's what makes him a great writer! "We Are All Latino" shows his support of the Latino community and shows real Latinos with real talents that need to be exposed and discovered by all now! I believe the future is his!
