Am I missing something in Russel T's writing? The scripts are terrible, badly constructed and extremely camp (which is not in itself a problem if done well) very unoriginal and amateurish. The episode I saw was appallingly directed (all those ridiculous helicopter shots) and over art directed. It must have cost a fortune which makes me angry as there are so many talented writers out there who are desperate to get on air. The plot was mystifying. The policewoman and the caretaker walking up to that 'creature' convinced it was a man in a mask had me hooting with laughter. However read the press including Broadcast and everyone is supposed to be raving about it. I must be mad clearly...
