It had some real promise--but the pacing was all wrong
23 September 2008 | by (Bradenton, Florida) – See all my reviews

This video is one of almost 100 short films recently posted on IMDb for viewing in the States.

At the onset, I liked this short. You just don't see that many Old West shorts in recent years--particularly comedies. And, it started off well as you see an idiot riding about irritating the locals by shooting their hats off! It's all pretty silly and you'd think you are in for an exciting comedy. However, there is a "let's form a posse" joke that is beaten like a dead horse. This not particularly funny joke takes up more than half the film and by the end you are simply tired and want the whole thing to end. There is promise--but next time they need to exercise a little more comedic restraint.
