This isn't really one of the more fascinating features I've seen on a DVD but, thankfully, it's short. It is simply the brains behind "The Triplets Of Belleville," artist-director Sylvain Chomet, showing us a laymen a few techniques on drawing.
He shows how animators use both hands: the right for drawing the figures and the left for flipping the pages to see how the character is going to look in motion. This way you can make alterations in the figures you've drawn.
He also demonstrates how similar people's shapes are and just one little change in a curve in a drawing can make a big difference. He gives us an example of an old lady and a tall black man from New York City.
Overall, you don't miss a lot if you don't check out this bonus feature. It's boring and not easy to understand with Chomet's accent. I had to play several sections over trying to figure out what he said.
