Storyline

The Prince of Persia makes his way home to Babylon, bearing with him Kaileena, the enigmatic Empress of Time, and unspeakable scars from the Island of Time. But instead of the peace he longs for, he finds his kingdom ravaged by war and Kaileena the target of a brutal plot. When she is kidnapped, the Prince tracks her to the Palace - only to see her murdered by a powerful enemy. Her death unleashes the Sands of Time, which strike the Prince and threaten to destroy everything he holds dear. Cast to the streets, hunted as a fugitive, the Prince soon discovers that the Sands have tainted him, too. They have given rise to a deadly Dark Prince, whose spirit gradually possesses him. Trivia

Before entering the elevator, Farah remembers hearing that a similar device is found in Azad, a place she hopes to visit once. This is a nod to the first Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2003), when both Farah and the Prince were in Azad (but Farah does not remember that, because the Prince changed the time line). Quotes

The Prince: Do you see now? The change was physical, nothing more.
Farah: Why should I believe you? Everything you have done contradicts this. I have seen the way you hunger for combat, you take pleasure in creating death. Your constant talk of bloody vengance, your cold disregard for your own people, you heard the women in the brothel as clearly as I did, yet you turned away.
The Prince: But I came back... I came back. For you...
Farah: You are a Prince in title only. Go and reclaim your throne. But know this, you do so alone.
The Dark Prince: You...

the game is wonderful
5 February 2007 | by See all my reviews

its a wonderful continuation of the pop series and presents a befitting end to the series. The prince looks great as ever and the various new features which are present in this game add an extra spice to it.The speed kill system is wonderful and makes the job quite easy for the prince, also in this game i cant recall a single instant where the game presented bad camera angles as are present in the previous two games. The game play is although pretty much similar to the previous two games but the platforming in this one is really great. There is one more added attraction in this game that is chariot racing which is quite nail biting stuff. Also in this game there aren't any monotonous boss fights as were in the pop warrior within. All in all a wonderful gaming experience,a must play for everyone and i give it a well deserved 9.5/10.
