Storyline

Robotboy is a cute, cutting-edge, butt-kicking battle-robot, who dreams of becoming a real boy. Created by world-renowned scientist Professor Moshimo, Robotboy has the ability to superactivate into a fighting machine capable of destroying entire armies. This attracts the diabolical attention of supervillains intent on harnessing Robotboy's powers to enslave the world. So Moshimo sends Robotboy far away to live with his number one fan, Tommy Turnbull, in the peaceful Bay Area. Here the small bot experiences life from the point of view of a kid growing up within a real family. It's up to Tommy and his pals, super-rich Lola and super-obnoxious Gus, to keep the world's most powerful fighting robot safe. And that's no easy task when the supervillians include a crazy cloning scientist, a twisted party magician and a deranged billionaire with a giant Orang-Utan sidekick... Written by Gaumont-Alphanim

crap

wow this show is terrible. there are no likable characters, and it has bland animation, lame stories, ugly artwork, and it rips off astroboy, and other mecha anime, in fact this cartoon tries too hard to be an anime, and at times it's overly dramatic, because the creators want you to feel for the characters, but because half of the characters are bland and the other half are obnoxious, it fails miserably.

oh and the humour, don't even get me started, it has fart humour. the creators seriously expect people to laugh at that, even though it comes across as sickening rather than amusing.

plus the main villain is nothing but a sad joke of one, plus his henchman is very dimwitted and extremely annoying, in fact most of the characters are very annoying and rude, like i said you're less likely to find yourself liking any of them.

overall this is just a very poor astroboy ripoff that tries too hard to be anime, avoid.
