Great film considering the director and the cast had never gone to film school. They shared a passion for making a film that explored the gray area of relationships known as the "break" in hopes of sympathizing with many college students ,like themselves, who had experienced this(plus they were really bored). this universal plot surrounds itself with a diverse cast of Asian American students, mostly Filipinos and one very vibrant Vietnamese kid. What makes this film so beautiful is that any of the characters can be replaced by another person of any ethnicity and the movie would not lose its content nor would the situations change. If you're expecting a film about martial arts or some plot of revenge then go rent a Jackie Chan film because this flick is a romantic comedy... with Asians. A film made by students, funded by students, for students.
