Irna Phillips had previously been a successful radio writer and actress but this was her first attempt at television. This show in itself was not particularly successful, lasting only four weeks from January 21st to March 4th 1949. Phillip's later creations Guiding Light (1952), As the World Turns (1956) and _"Days of Our Lives" (1965) are still in production today. See more »
