LOVE IN THE OFFSIDE is the exciting Croatian Telenovela. It is a family story placed in the recognizable urban area of Zagreb. The story centers around two generations of three families connected by football. The show follows the lives of four young men from the suburbs, which grew up playing football. Two of them became professional football players, one became a successful coach and one became a manager. At the peak of his career, one of the youths was tragically killed, while the other three went their separate ways. The drama begins 25 years later, when they all returned to Zagreb. In addition to having football and their past in common, the characters find themselves in complex emotional relations. At the same time, the show follows the lives of their children, which were unavoidably affected by football and burdened with their parents' past. The center of the story is the love of two young people, a football player Marko Marusic and painter Nina Radic. Due to different surroundings and what seem to be incompatible life styles, their love story is very turbulent.

A story about a woman who raised her child alone. In her youth, Marija loved Petar very much. . and from that love was born the child Marko. Petar was the best football player in Croatia.his parents were poor, he decided to help them and took advantage of the opportunity that was presented to him. Offered and left to play in Germany, however, since he was a child from a poor family, it was the opportunity of a lifetime, then Marija found out that she was pregnant, he called her to go with him, but she didn't want to..Marija thought that the fact that Petar left her in Croatia without knowing that he had left a pregnant girlfriend and left, that's how it should be, because she became pregnant with a man whom she loved immensely and whom she loves immensely. She married Davor Marusic when she was already pregnant with him knew that he was not Marko's biological father, he knew that his best friend Petar was the father, but he raised Marko and loved him as his own child. He died when Marko was 5 years old.then Petar returned to Croatia for the funeral of his best friend Davor. But the series starts 25 years later, when Marko has already grown up a lot since his late father's funeral when he was 5 years old. Marko is a 30-year-old adult. We meet the best player of Agram and the best captain of all that Agram has ever had, the captain of Agram, 30-year-old Marko Marusic, A new coach Petar Malek comes to Agram from Germany and becomes the coach of Agram. Petar Malek is the coach of Agram. Marija and Petar continue their long-term relationship Petar keeps begging her, but Marija always rejects him, it seems as if something is bothering her.
