Outstanding Stuff That Makes Me Want To Dance
18 March 2010 | by See all my reviews

When Jackson performs Thriller on stage I actually find this more entertaining than his massive budget Thriller music video of the 1980s! Granted, the costumes on the stage show look a bit average but Jackson just looks like he is having so much fun it makes me so happy watching him...again and again on DVD.

The good news: this concert was done before Jackson got that silly full-on plastic job on his face where his nose suddenly goes tiny!

The whole DVD is good news: it starts with Jackson standing like a statue for about a minute. That is control for you. What other artist could get away with just standing still for a minute or so? The crowd loves it. We see what the crowd likes because the camera keeps cutting away to them every minute or so. Great stuff!

The 1992 concert is one of the best things to come out of 1990s television. In fact, one of the best things to appear on television in the last 30 years. Outstanding entertainment that has survived about 200 DVD viewings so far. I feel like dancing as I type this review!

PS I am in Sydney Australia, Oz Jackson fans may email me.
