Sex & Nudity

  • A fully clothed man hides in a shower while it is running. A woman is forced to strip down naked and get in with him. The side of her breasts are briefly seen.
  • There is mention of a urologist in an innuendo about having sex.
  • A 15-year-old girl and her boyfriend kiss in several scenes. We see them making out at one point. In a later scene, the girl tells her father that when it comes to sex, her boyfriend is the one who wants to wait.
  • A father is referred to as a "monk" by his teenage daughter when they are talking about her relationship with a guy.
  • A 15-year-old girl eats a cherry and literally ties a knot on the stem with her tongue, to show that she is a good kisser. She says that she is doing this for her boyfriend.
  • Adult couples kiss, although there is nothing too explicit.
  • While exercising outside the house, a guy stretches with his girlfriend. They sometimes stretch each other in questionable positions, while the guy's brother is watching.
  • A man dances suggestively in a bar with a woman. They are jumping up and down and shrieking. It is later implied that they were out late together, and sex is possible, although it is never mentioned.

Violence & Gore

  • A man punches his younger brother pretty hard, knocking him to the ground. You can see some blood on the younger brother's lip later.
  • Angry that his brother is dating a girl he likes, a guy goes into the kitchen, rummages through the drawers, and comes out with a knife. He holds it up over his head, and we're not sure what he's about to do with it, but he stops when he sees a bunch of kids watching him. He ends up sticking the knife in the center of a pie. It's not intended to be really violent - just funny.

Profanity

  • 1 use of "damn," 4 uses of "my God," 1 use of "Lord," 2 uses of "oh God," 2 uses of "hell," 1 use of "son-of-a-bitch."
  • There are 1 use each of "sex," "sexual," and "queer." Dan's brother also asks "did you uncork?" after he had been on a date.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A man's mother sets him up on a blind date. They end up going to a bar, where they get drunk (although not in an over-the-top way).
  • Characters drink champagne at dinner.
