Vince Vaughn has a fairly busy schedule – with less than a month to go before The Internship release, he signed on to the Etan Cohen film, Daddy’s Home. The new comedy that already has Will Ferrell attached to star will be Cohen’s directorial debut. Etan, not Oscar-winning dark comedy filmmaker Ethan Cohen, screenwriting credits include Idiocracy, Tropic Thunder, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, and, most recently, Men in Black 3. Vince Vaughn and Will Ferrell definitely have a proclivity towards working together. Between Old School, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Wedding Crashers and Starsky & Hutch, the two comedians have shared plenty of time on-screen. And today we've learned that they're about to add to that total. The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Vaughn has joined the cast of Daddy's Home, the new comedy from director Etan Cohen that already has Ferrell attached to star. The script is about "a mild-mannered radio executive" (Ferrell) who wants to be the best stepfather he can be to his wife's children. This becomes complicated when their deadbeat biological father (Vaughn) returns and forces the protagonist to fight for the kids' affection. While the movie will be Cohen's directorial debut, he has had a solid career in Hollywood with the pen.
