  • The guy in the hospital pharmacy that tells Chev about the nasal spray is Chester Bennington, one of the lead singers from Linkin Park.

  • Directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor operated both "a" and "b" cameras, where one would get a wide shot and the other would get a closeup shot.

  • In the restaurant scene, when Jason Statham was explaining to Amy Smart what he did, her hiccups were genuine.

  • The hooded terrorist in the "Fear, Excitement, Danger" segment is Guillaume DeLouche, the weapons master on the film.

  • The watch Chev wears is a Tag Heuer Carrera Automatic Chronograph.

  • There are a number of references to 80's arcade games in the film. In the opening credits there are flashes of arcade boot up sequences and the high score table of Robotron: 2084 (1982) (VG) is briefly displayed. Verona's sidekick is seen playing Berzerk (1980) (VG) in the car. The humanoid graphic of Berzerk is also displayed on the male toilet door Chev enters.

  • The phone Chev is using is a Nokia 8800 Scirocco Edition.

  • Jason Statham did all of his own fight and car stunts.

  • The overhead satellite images have the Google Earth logo on them, complete with the 2006 copyright.

  • The gun Chev uses in the bar scene is a Springfield XD. The loaded chamber indicator on the top of the gun indicates that there was no round in the chamber (the gun wasn't loaded) and the cocked position indicator indicates that the striker was down and the gun could not be fired even if it was loaded.

  • Although a non-stop action film, not a single explosion occurs throughout.

  • In the public sex scene, all the non-actors' reactions to the scene were real.
