I happened upon this Japanese/French film one evening and it kept me up too late because I really enjoyed it. The film itself, is very dramatic with lots of "grey" filters however, after a few minutes I was drawn to it, like moths to a candle. The intensity, was too much to ignore...the plot reveals surprise intensity. The relationships with the characters kept gradually developing and left me wanting to see the next scene. This film and the character relationships with one another felt real, and the emotions that tie them all together left me thinking about "art imitates life". Wonderful, a nice surprise to some other films that pop on TV this late on a Sunday evening.See it for yourself.
