Want to Watch Old School Milo Ventimiglia? See “Winter Break”

14 September 2017 6:00 AM, PDT | TVovermind.com | See recent TVovermind.com news »

Now there’s a blast from the past. Sorry, so cliche but I had to. If you’ve seen Milo in anything it’s probably been in Rocky Balboa, Heroes, Grown Ups 2, and a whole list of other appearances including This Is Us. He’s more of a star than many people seem to know but he’s been so under the radar for so much of his career that a lot of people don’t even know his name. They either know him as “that guy” or by a character name that is a lot easier to pronounce. That’s really too bad because he’s

Dolph Lundgren Trains as Drago in Creed 2 Behind-The-Scenes Video

21 August 2017 4:22 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

It looks like a rematch more than three decades in the making is starting to really heat up. Sylvester Stallone has been teasing the return of Ivan Drago for Creed 2 over the last month or so and it is all but formally confirmed that Dolph Lundgren is going to be back. Now, the actor has shared a new video on Instagram that teases his training to get back in shape for his upcoming return to the Rocky franchise.

Dolph Lundgren is currently filming Aquaman, but he is still finding time to hit the gym and get back into proper Ivan Drago shape. The character first appeared in Rocky IV, which is generally considered to be one of the best movies in the franchise. Again, it seems like everyone involved is being a little cagey, despite their not-so-subtle social media activity, and they are hoping to make some big, formal announcement at some point. »

Stallone On Ivan Drago’s Return In Creed 2: ‘You Know I Gotta Hit Drago Once’

8 August 2017 10:40 AM, PDT | LRMonline.com | See recent LRM Online news »

Over the past few weeks, Sylvester Stallone has made no secret of the fact that Ivan Drago would be returning in Creed 2, the sequel to the 2015 sports drama from Ryan Coogler that served as a successor to the Rocky franchise. That film was much better than it had any right to be, and it even managed to snag an Oscar nomination for Stallone’s portrayal of the Italian Stallion himself, Rocky Balboa.

Related: Ivan Drago Confirmed For Creed 2

For this sequel, it seemed natural that the next obstacle could come in the form of Ivan Drago. For those who aren’t incredibly versed in the Rocky mythology, in Rocky IV, the Russian boxer killed Apollo Creed — Adonis Creed’s father — in the ring, which led to his eventual showdown with Rocky. Given that Drago is responsible for Adonis’ father’s death, it’s a great next step for this franchise to take in addressing that. »

‘Creed 2’: Dolph Lundgren Rumored to Return as the Siberian Bull, Ivan Drago

Sylvester Stallone's Rocky franchise is classic American cinema, no contest. The Oscar-nominated Creed is both a worthy continuation of the boxing icon's story and a worthwhile original tale in its own right, thanks in part to Ryan Coogler's excellent writing and direction and Michael B. Jordan's fantastic, heartfelt performance. The 2015 sports drama that centered on Jordan's Adonis Johnson anchored itself to the Rocky franchise by connecting to the storylines of both Rocky Balboa and his late friend and rival, Apollo Creed, Adonis' father. Now, it looks like another franchise favorite may be returning … »

It’s thought that Creed 2 will see Michael B. Jordan’s Adonis Creed going up against the son of Lundgren’s Drago, who of course ended the life of Adonis’ father Apollo Creed during their bout in Rocky IV.
