Wow, Joe has got problems. He works at a video rental store and all he wants to do is watch movies. So it's not totally surprising that when he falls asleep watching a DVD, he wakes up to a bizarre world where he is an action hero and his life plays like a movie trailer--complete with narration! Joe is confused and overwhelmed, but somehow he manages to become the hero that he is destined to become! The film is a cute and very well made film. It pokes gentle fun at many films and is quite entertaining. The only thing I didn't like was how the movie made me think about my own obsession about films. So far, 6500 reviews on IMDb and counting. Perhaps I am the next Joe! Perhaps I should take a day off and go fishing.
