Trivia

In a 2003 interview, the filmmakers said that the film was part of a much larger project that included story lines about mobsters, vice cops, vampires, and zombies. This was taken as a joke by the interviewer, as the short was nothing like any of that. In mid-2005, they aired a half hour "making of" special on local daytime TV, that included clips of all of these things. Despite being obviously comical in nature, the special became the subject of some controversy as it included scenes of a zombie eating human innards, and several shootings that appeared excessively violent.
