Just An Ordenary Day
14 November 2008 | by (Madrid, Spain) – See all my reviews

The "old story" is obtaining a new interpretation: in Madrid, Spain. Production of remake of this film comedy is in progress. New actors, a lot of changes in a plot (a new, spectacular ending f.e.), a new format (live digital/comic animation mix), a new director and "old" title, the original one - "Un día cualquiera". Together with digital animation experts, a group of talented drawing artists are living this adventure of creating one new and original expression, by mixing rel with fantasy, providing the "living actors" with unreal backgrouns - streets and places of Madrid, but as they see them from their artistic point of view. Even screen format is different, it changes from scene to scene, like comic and the same way actor sometimes are "steping out of the screen". Film Art Director, Milos Kotlaic says that it is a kind of mix between Jonny Bravo and Samurai Jack in all senses - excellent dramatic point and modern sense of humor.
