Storyline

"Nailed" is a thriller about two men who break into a house in attempt to escape arrest by police, and find instead a man lying on a bed, covered in bandages, whose caretaker may have intentions that are less than honorable. All is not as it seems as things begin to go wrong for the thieves and the plot takes a turn for the worse, bringing the supernatural into play. Written by Briana

Trivia

This film began as a low-budget horror film, shot in Belfast, Ireland, when the script came to the attention of American producer Ben Katz, who was shooting _Johnny Was (2005)_ in Belfast. Katz was so pleased with the script that he offered the services of several of his actors to the project, allowing for the addition of Charles Porter, Sam Sarpong and Wilson Heredia to the cast. The script was quickly rewritten to suit American actors, such that it would take place in Brooklyn instead of Belfast. See more »

'Nailed' nails it on the head!
10 November 2006 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I saw 'Nailed' at the Westwood Film Festival last month and was blown away! It is a MUST SEE! From beginning to end, 'Nailed' keeps you engaged and guessing. This is not your typical horror flick...it doesn't bombard you with a lot of superfluous blood and guts, but it's so creepy, that I watched a few scenes through my fingers. It was apparent to me that this film was a labor of love; the writing was believable and the acting superb! Sam Sarpong gives a stand out performance as Scott Scott, he's subtle--you won't catch him acting in this film. The cinematography is excellent, with surprising angles and a certain grittiness that compliments the story. I give 'Nailed' two thumbs up!
