Buddytv.Com: Who's The Better Teen Heartthrob? Rob Or Zac

18 December 2008 5:07 PM, PST | twilightersanonymous.com | See recent TwilightersAnonymous news »

Ill have to admit Im not surprised at the most recent tween debate. I remember my intense hatred for Nsync when I was in middle school. Not because I actually had good taste in music at the time. No no simply because I loved the Backstreet Boys so much. One cannot live while the other survives. Or at least thats what I thought. So now in a world that is once again full of teenyboppers who are the real competitors? Evidently its High School Musical vs. Twilight nowadays.nbspIll admit that I saw both High School Musical 3 and Twilight on opening weekend. Ive seen all three HSM movies and Ive read all four Twilight books. I may be all grown up but Im still a tween at heart. Lets put all loyalties aside though and truly try to figure out who is the better teen heartthrob Robert Pattinson or Zac Efron? »

Best Song Oscar Contenders

18 December 2008 8:44 AM, PST | JustPressPlay.net | See recent JustPressPlay news »

So the official list of songs up for "Best Song" Academy Award nomination has been released (read more to see the list). If I said I wasn't more than just a little surprised that High School Musical is on the list 11 times - I'd be lying. Really? That movie had anything worthy of an Oscar? I mean, yeah sure, it has "musical" in the title but not any great music in the movie. Ironic, I know. On that note, I think some of the funniest aspects of this list are the comedic songs that have actually been added to the "for your consideration" list. The final scene of Forgetting Sarah Marshall had a fantastic Dracula-puppet musical number - awesome - that made the list. I think that song would be a great change from the very typical, more serious songs that typically sweep the awards.
