Real pathos

There is a real pathos in this one-reel photoplay, but an unexpected "happy ending" relieves the tension. Anne Schaefer plays the leading role with feeling and skill. J. Carleton Weatherby and Estelle Allen also merit favorable mention. - The Moving Picture World, April 24, 1915
