Jennifer Lee Wiggins,
Captain Nemo goes even deeper into insanity in this mesmerizing fantasy tale. Once again at the helm of his fearsome, wildly advanced vessel, the nautical madman endeavors to turn the world above the waves upside down.
After killing four persons in his home with a shotgun, Dee Travis claims that he had accidentally ingested an experimental biotoxin that the company Blackthorn where he worked was researching. Travis is sent visibly ill to the Harwood Maximum Security Prison and the Security Officer Sweeny sends the inmate to the infirmary. Meanwhile the CDC Agent Samantha Beckett comes to the prison to interview Travis and is received by Warden Mahler. While they are having a conversation, they are informed that Travis has been transferred to the solitary confinement and his infected blood has caused an outbreak among the prisoners and guards. Samantha calls the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the responsible advises the warden that the prison is in quarantine. Written by

I really enjoyed the idea for this movie. It was smart and a new take on the Zombie genre. If only this movie had a real budget I believe it could have been really good. There were too many moments where you could feel that the story got lost in the execution. I really hated the moments when they were shooting guns and there was little to no kick back, they edited in the flash from the gun, and you could not see cartridges or used bullets falling. I am no gun expert but if I notice that than many other people will see that as a big flaw. I enjoyed the humor in the movie provided by Sweeney and his unhappiness in shooting staff. I thought having the Wardens kid in the film was useless and very unrealistic. What father would let his kid come visit him in a maximum security prison all alone? That was nuts. I did enjoy the opening scene where he is fighting off the Zombies and just as he kills the last one he gets arrested by the police. That was realistic to me. I mean, how do you explain the situation and actually think people are going to believe you. I would recommend this movie for the story alone. They definitely needing more money to make this a better picture but I still think it's worth seeing.
