Welcome back to Thn’s Top Ten Former Child Stars That You Now Totally Would. Yesterday we had numbers 10 – 6, which you can view here. Now it’s time to get your voyeurism on as we check out the Top Five. Is it appropriate? Not really. Is it justifiable? That’s for the courts to decide.
Omg Jgl!!
Child star? What were they in?
He cut his teeth on various TV shows including Roseanne, Dr Quinn: Medicine Woman, Quantum Leap and even Murder She Wrote. But we all remember him best as little Tommy Solomon in the terrific 3rd Rock From The Sun. He also got an ice hockey boot through the face in Halloween: H20 (1998) and was juuuuuuust about legal in the brilliant 10 Things I Hate About You. Though it may not feel like it, you can totally ogle him in that film, guilt free. Go ahead. I’ll wait. »

Once Michael Bay has finished making himself, his crew and Paramount even richer (but the rest of the world even dumber) with Transformers 4 next July, Variety reports that he will embark on a covert mission with Ubisoft!
Bay has signed on to develop a big screen movie out of Ubisoft’s long-running video game franchise Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon at Warner Bros, with an eye to direct.
An enduring 21st century juggernaut that was first released in 2001 and has sold over 24 million copies across nine titles, Ghost Recon revolves around a fictional top-secret unit of U.S. Army Special Forces that operate directly to the President. They are essentially his private army and are armed with the latest technology to infiltrate and take down threats across the world, without leaving any evidence or trace that they actually exist. Kind of like the Navy Seals that took down Osama Bin Laden, »

Founded in 2007, Radical Studios is a multimedia company that incubated comic books for exploitation in other forms. Among their earliest releases was Hercules, boasting a Steranko cover, and it came with high production values and a bit of a buzz., The character returned for a second miniseries in and this interpretation captured Hollywood’s fancy. After years in development, production on the movie adaptation began today. Thew film enters a crowded summer 2014, especially for super-hero films, coming after Captain America: The Winter Solider and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and just before X-Men: Days of Future Past and Guardians of the Galaxy (raising the question whether or not four Marvel Universe films in five months will reach the saturation point).
Here’s the formal release:

Brett Ratner’s down to Earth Hercules adaptation, starring Dwayne Johnson, has started principal photography. The film is based on the graphic novel ‘Hercules: The Thracian Wars’, and explores the man behind the myth, in a similar way to 2004′s King Arthur, removing all talk of magic and gods. See below for the complete press release.
I like the idea of removing magic from magical stories, but it can also just be a bit of a gimmick as well as showing the story as being pretty boring. What next? The legend of St. George where he slays, not a dragon, but a gecko? Or perhaps we’ll see Harry Potter as a wizard…a Maths wizard that is!
Hercules: The Thracian Wars is released 25th July 2014. It stars Dwayne Johnson, John Hurt, Joseph Fiennes, Aksel Hennie, Rufus Sewell, Ian McShane, and Rebecca Ferguson.

No one knows the Hollywood franchise game better than Jerry Bruckheimer, the producer behind Pirates of the Caribbean, National Treasure, Beverly Hills Cop, and the upcoming Lone Ranger. During his more than 35 years of making movies, most of his giant blockbusters have yielded big-budget sequels — except the one that moviegoers are perhaps the hungriest to revisit: Top Gun. After years of planning to send Tom Cruise’s rebel flyboy back into the sky were interrupted by the tragic death of director Tony Scott, who helmed the 1986 original, Bruckheimer says Top Gun 2 is still a Go.

With the WiiU already on store shelves and the PS4 and Xbox One ready to launch in just a few short months, the sun is quickly setting on the current generation of consoles. Yes, there are still a few heavy hitters yet to come (The Last of Us, Grand Theft Auto V, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, etc…) for the Xbox 360 and the PS3, but with both E3 and the next generation right around the corner, it feels like a great time to look back at what the past 8~ years of gaming has brought us. Today I’m going to list my top 10 biggest disappointments of the current generation. Keep in mind that just because a game is on the list does not necessarily mean I think it’s a “bad game”; there are actually a few games on the list that I would label as “great”, but that just makes the »

Plans for a Tomb Raider reboot remain on course and one of the fan favorites to take over the role is British actress Gemma Arterton. The actress certainly has her share of experience in the action genre starring in Prince of Persia, Clash of the Titans, Quantum of Solace and earlier this year in Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters. Arterton has two films coming up in theaters in June, one of them being the vampire drama from Interview with the Vampire director/writer Neil Jordan called Byzantium. As part of the press tour, Arterton sat down with Empire magazine to answer a few Twitter questions. One of the questions asks point-blank if she would be interested in playing Lara Croft. "If the script is good," Arterton says, before admitting that this the usual answer...

Ubisoft today confirmed that "Rayman Legends" will be coming to the PlayStation Vita. The game, which was originally planned as a Wii U exclusive, will release for Sony's handheld alongside the console versions in early September.
What separates the Ps Vita version from the others are five exclusive maps, where players will take control of Murphy using the Vita's rear touch pad. A multiplayer mode is also accessible and players from the same country can play in co-op. Online challenges also make an appearance, letting players compare rankings in the online leaderboards.
If five Vita-exclusive maps weren't enough for you, Ubisoft is also throwing in two exclusive character costumes. Rayman gets a Prince of Persia costume, while the mighty Globox gets stealthy in some hi-tech apparel inspired by the Splinter Cell series.
"Rayman Legends" will be available on the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and Ps Vita on September 3rd.
