1981? I remember it happening in June 1980

I worked on this show and I thought it was in the summer of 1980. Of course I could be wrong; heck it's been more than 26 years! Back then, I worked for Reeves/Teletape, the company that provided the video remote unit for the show. I had a busy summer that year and worked on a number of big shows for Reeves/Teletape. I was a camera utility person for this production, right up close to the stage. I even got on camera a couple of times in the finished show and have some great photos of EJ. There was also a photo of the concert on the cover of "On Location" magazine in which I can be seen along with the TV camera. This Elton John Concert was considered his "return" since he'd been fading from the public's attention for the previous couple of years. The finale has EJ in a Daffy Duck-like outfit. He clearly was enjoying himself, adding a few "quacks" to the song he was singing as he performed.
