Quotes

College Student: [dissecting poop] Whoever it was seems to have been eating newspaper.
Dennis Reynolds: Alright, well now we're gettin' somewhere. Which one of you idiots was eating a goddamn newspaper?
Charlie Kelly: It's gonna go both ways dude, sorry.
Dennis Reynolds: Really?
Charlie Kelly: Yeah, what else? What else?
College Student: This appears to be a piece of a credit card.
Frank Reynolds: Inconclusive.
Dennis Reynolds: How is that not specific to one of you?
Charlie Kelly: I wish it was man, but that's inconclusive.
College Student: Oh boy, there's a good deal of blood in this stool. Whoever's it is should see a doctor.

Crazy Credits

The show's RCH production logo (now RCG) features an image of creators/stars Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, and Glenn Howerton wearing hoodies and sunglasses. A sound clip plays backwards over the logo. In season 1 the clip says 'You are stupid for playing this forward' when reversed; in season 2 it says 'Is it brown? Is it brown? Good work. Is it brown? Is it brown?'; in season 3 it says 'Make it brown. Make it brown. Make it brown.' each actor chanting the words. See more »

Actually Funny
5 August 2005 | by (North Carolina, US) – See all my reviews

I've been a big fan of FX ever since my wife coerced me into watching an episode of Nip/Tuck. I then got sucked into the various other dramas like Rescue Me, 30 Days, Over There, etc.

I was a bit worried about FX trying to do comedy. I didn't think it would work out at all.

And yet, I was completely wrong. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is a fantastic show. It's about three guys and a girl that own an Irish pub in Philly. You might be thinking that you've heard similar plot lines, but this is completely different.

The show is politically incorrect, vulgar and hilarious. The first episode deals with racism which is a pretty lofty subject to start with, but it handles it with ease.

This is by far one of the best comedies on TV. Well worth checking out.
