Silly, Un-PC Splatter From Argentina
EVOL66629 July 2007
Warning: Spoilers
I agree with what a couple of the other reviewers stated about SADOMASTER, in that it is definitely reminiscent of some of the zero-budget Euro gore-films out there - most of which I don't care for either, so I guess it's no surprise that I found SADOMASTER to be a pretty worthless waste of my time.

As far as plot - it has something to do with some political conspiracy involving Nazis, ninjas, and some government officials which really has nothing to do with anything. Then some Jesus-looking weirdo happens across the scene of a group of the Nazis whose leader gut-rapes a retard which causes Jesus-freak to flake out, steal a cheap-looking bondage outfit from a porn store, and go on a vigilante rampage against the Nazis and basically all of the other "bad-guys" in the film...

I know that films like SADOMASTER have their market amongst micro-budget cinephiles - but this sort of thing has never done much for me. All of these types of films (i.e. DAS KOMABRUTALLE DUEL, SCHIZOPHRENIAC: THE WHORE MANGLER, anything from Andreas Schnaas, etc...) are so cheaply made and poorly done that they feel like a they were conceived by a bunch of drunken half-wits and filmed during a 2-day coke binge. There are a few (VERY few) exceptions to this "rule" from what I've seen - but the vast majority of this genre of films are completely worthless to me. I will say that the blatantly Un-PC tone of SADOMASTER helps it out a bit, and there are a few notable scenes, including the retard-rape and the scene with the black "baby" at the end. Overall though - I'd say to not waste your time unless you are a HUGE fan of zero-budget/zero-talent splatter films...4/10

A morbid ball of splatter and violence
leandrodelatorredivano24 February 2006
A "z" rated gorno film. Behind the rotten "mise en scene", the director makes an analogy with some historical events and makes a very acid critic about the process of domination between the High classes to the working class. The Gore scenes and the cruelty are very shocking, but not for being realistic scenes. The sock is produced by de unnecessary violence and a questionable taste for black humor. Otherwise there are laughing moments that guide you through this journey to the dark of Germán Magariños. If you haven 't seen yet any of this director 's movies you may start with "Sadomaster" or, otherwise, with "Goreinvasión", another creation of unnecessary splatter and violence. This guy is insane, his humor is insane, but the mordbid watcher you have inside sticks to the couch until the end.

Splatter from Argentina
mvario16 October 2006
First off. See the cover of the US release DVD? Forget it, forget everything about it. It's kind of this slick nazisploitation s&m thing. That is not this movie, and if you go in expecting that you will be very disappointed. Not that Sadomaster is a bad movie, but the cover art is an example of really bad marketing.

Okay, so what is Sadomaster? It's a micro-budget splatter flick, think something along the lines of an Andreas Schnaas flick, that tries hard to be offensive. Story-wise it's a revenge flick with a political corruption back story, say along the lines of The Crow. Only our protagonist is a wino. And the revenge is for some dead retarded guy whose brains he ate. There's definitely some offensive stuff here, like when the hoods/punks/Nazis/whatever kill the retarded guy they do some pretty graphic (but low budget) sodomy. There's a decent amount of gore, some good, some not so good, but it was all pretty fun. I can get into the whole micro-budget splatter thing so I mostly liked it. It did drag a little bit at times (not the non-stop splatter-fest of something like Plaga Zombie or Le Bagman), but there was enough whacked out and offensive stuff that it was overall an entertaining flick. If you're in to micro-budget splatter it's worth a look.

Over the Top violence and gore
ultra_tippergore17 September 2006
Sadomaster is a movie that looks a lot like a German ultra-gore. its ten times better filmed that the original Violent Sh*t and have a lot of comedy on it (comedy is a thing that Germany movies lacks). But, i think that this movie was influenced by "works of art" like Andreas Schnaass Violent Sh=t 3: Zombie Doom or Ittembachs Premutos. The combination of Nazis, ninjas, Bondage avengers and off course, over the top gore (including explicit rape!!)remind me a lot of those ultra-goriest epics.

The plot: a Nazi gang torture and rape some people (in brutal ways), then, one retarded is raped and killed and the bloody revenge begins. Wont tell more because don't want to spoil it. Its a funny no-brainer flick if you can enjoy over the top violence and so bad is good stuff. Don't take this serious or you will hate it!

It deserves to be seen.

Gorevision is dispatched with this work where the budget is excellently used to offer us a decent film within category Z. Argentina is dominated by Jews, communists and homosexuals and a political and parapolice combination is required to put an end to the matter. Add to this Nazi ninjas, rapist and degenerate hitmen, hypocritical politicians and a vigilante who devotes himself to balancing things while dressed as a Master in the time-honored art of BDSM: The film has its peak moments that stand out for their ridiculousness and the desire to shock the viewer. It is a movie worth considering. If you like extreme movies is a must.
