An update on a project whose Kickstarter fundraising campaign we featured on this site in 2013. Lanre Olabisi's second feature film, titled "Somewhere in the Middle," is now complete and set to make its World Premiere at the Atlanta Film Festival later this month, March 20-29.  The film's crowdfunding campaign successfully raised over $100,000, which is a very rare occurrence for an entirely independent, non-celebrity-backed project; typically, successful campaigns range in the $10,000 to $40,000 range).
