That's not so usual that I comment a movie from Algeria, Morocco or any country around. This one is a really interesting one which tells us the terrific struggle of a honest and dedicated policeman against the rotten politicians involved with Moslem extremists in the nineties, extremists who spread all over Algeria. An authentic dark and desperate story, poignant and that leaves you a weird taste in the mouth after you saw it. What a shame that nearly no one saw it when it was released in 2007. Adapted from a Yasmina Khadra novel. There are probably many of those obscure features all over the world that are not shown to the audiences. A real shame.
