this series got it's popularity due to a lot of things, it has a star cast of a lot of the renowned Egyptian actors, and it is THE MAJOR role in it's success. the story line is realistic, although a little bit, well...maybe too much idealistic for my taste. but non the less a good show. the sound track was specifically made by Egypt's great conductor and composer, Omar khayrat, although it turns out that omar khayrat is typically predictable in his written music that he is categorized by the use of percussion and trumpets, that in 90% of his music is identifiable by the later, but non the less it is a great score, when you hear it, you can almost feel the warm home atmosphere in a cold Alexandrian winter after the sky has stopped raining and it is clear although there is a lot of clouds
