Storyline

Paul, who thinks the only important things in a relationship are looks and image. He only likes women half his age but has discovered he's losing his hair. He's worried because he thinks he'll lose his 22 year old girlfriend Sarah. While Sarah announces that her parents are coming to meet him (an idea that is not made Paul very happy), he discovers an advert: 'The Final Solution to Baldness'. Paul, a not very intelligent man who believes everything, not hesitates to try it, thinking that it is a revolutionary idea to improve his relationship. But the idea won't work so well. A nice enjoyable short film..
15 January 2006 | by (Luton, England) – See all my reviews

I saw this film on UK Screen last year.. Basically it tells the story of Paul (John Gunnery) whose relationship with Sarah (Karianna Flaathen) is in turmoil when he starts losing his hair. In order to grow his hair back, he goes to see a specialist so that he can grow his hair back.

As the film goes on, Paul's hair begins to take shape and then later on, it gets worse.. The guy is now becoming like some sort of werewolf.. So, he goes to see the specialist and now he wants his hair to stop growing even more.. After all that, Paul is finally back with Sarah..

This film is not too bad. It's worth a watch.. Ana Torres Alvarez has come a long way to direct short films such as this one. ..And mind you, she hasn't done too bad. I reckon in years to come, if a good opportunity comes along, we could seeing Ana directing big feature films..

Although she has a couple of films in development.. It's only a matter of time before we really see Ana work behind the camera again to do those big features..

Just remember the name: Ana Torres Alvarez.. 6 out of 10!
