Samuel Goldwyn Films sent over the latest English trailer for “Blood: The Last Vampire” yesterday, and today they’ve returned with the latest poster. It features the main character Saya with her trusty swords. The girl in the small background pic, I believe, is Masiela Lusha of The George Lopez Show. Not sure why they decided to feature her in the poster with Gianna Jun, since as far as I know she’s a minor character in the movie. New Trailer for Blood: The Last Vampire Promises Lots of Swords and Rain

11 May 2009 5:10 PM, PDT | Beyond Hollywood | See recent Beyond Hollywood news »

Samuel Goldwyn Films just sent over the latest English trailer for Chris Nahon’s live-action adaptation of the Japanese horror anime “Blood: The Last Vampire”. The movie boasts the International film debut of South Korean mega star Gianna Jun (”My Sassy Girl”, “Winstruck”) and stunt action choreography by Hong Kong’s Corey Yuen (the “Transporter” films). It looks like a stylish action movie, with plenty of swordfights in the rain and crazy action shots. And oh yeah, plenty of schoolgirl outfits, if you’re into that sort of thing. Should be fun for fans of the anime to see the movie turned into live-action courtesy of a Hollywood budget.
