MPAA Rated R for language and some strong violent content

Sex & Nudity

  • A baby boy's genitals are partly uncovered when he is being changed.
  • A woman's bare breast is shown briefly, but just in the context of nursing a baby.

Violence & Gore

  • A gang of four surrounds a man on a crowded subway train, stab him, twist the knife, then take it out. It is graphic, but there is little blood. A man beats another man, we see his bloody face after--he has an eye swollen shut for the rest of the movie. A man shoots another man to save someone's life. We see blood splatter on a man's face from this, then see the dead man's body--with blood. Lots of threatening with guns and knives. A man kicks his dog--we don't see this, but hear the dog yelp, then crawl and whimper outside for a while. A man shoots a woman and steals her car (she survives, little blood). A man cuts his arm with a shard of glass, we see the blood trickle.

  • In the subtitles: The F-word is used twenty-nine times. The S-word is used seven times. There are also several blasphemies.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Some casual smoking and drinking.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There are many, many tense scenes where there is threatening with guns and knives.
