Graham Kennedy's Funeral
13 July 2006 | by (Australia) – See all my reviews

I am Australian and i watched Graham Kennedy's funeral last year, as any true Aussie would. I am too young to have ever seen him on T.V but i have seen his shows on DVD's and read many interviews and he truly was the King. Graham Kennedy is an Aussie icon and i cried when i watched "Farewell to the King". It was strange he wasn't someone i knew personally but i still felt the loss when they carried his coffin out. The funeral was beautiful and it was a wonderful thing to see all those people there, proving that even though he was somewhat of a recluse and a shy man. He was an Aussie hero and a friend to many. So here's to Graham Kennedy may he rest in peace and thank you for ensuring that years from now people can appreciate and admire what you did, who you where and what you will always mean to Australia.
