Parents Guide for
Juno (2007) More at IMDbPro »

The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

We see a teenage girl from the knees down, from behind, dropping her underwear and going to a chair where a presumably naked boy is sitting, shown from the legs and chest up. We see them kissing and her bare legs climbing over his; in a later scene it shows him gasp briefly during the act.

Violence & Gore

Juno is shown screaming and moaning with contractions and it shows her giving birth soon afterwards; nothing graphic.

There is one very gory scene which occurs as Juno and Mark watch a horror film, what appears to be a mutilated person. Not brief, just some blood seen.

A pregnant teenager vomits inside her stepmother's urn after drinking a blue Slushee.

1 f-words, 11 s-words, 1 obscene hand gesture, 22 sexual references, 9 scatological terms, - anatomical terms, 9 mild obscenities, name-calling (jock, jerk, stupid, nerds, squares, stink eye), 3 uses of Jesus' name.

A woman drinks wine. A teenage girl carries an unlit pipe in her mouth in a few scenes. Some talk about teenagers drinking booze. At one point Juno offers to sell some of her Aderol to a girl, then tells a story of another girl (presumably herself) who went on a rampage after having too many behavorial medications at once.
