Puff, Puff, Pass -- Two down on their luck stoners must figure out a way to start up their tiny classified ad business while trying to watch The Shawshank Redemption marathon on cable. After getting evicted from their apartment they must go to extremes to try and watch their favorite movie.

Trivia:
The film was originally titled "Easier Softer Way" and had extensive scenes where Larry, Rico and Big Daddy team up with John DuPree in Nicaragua. He explains the "complex" nature of the Tiny Classified Ads, and how the Real Estate thing is also a scam, and what the real successful business is. The title had links to this plot line, and had nothing to do with the way they finally released the movie, so it was changed to suit the new focus of the plot.See more »

Like it or hate it i guess.., 3 November 2006

Honestly this movie gets better each time i watch it. Its not all that surprising that people either like it or hate it, for those looking for a classic stoner movie it may leave a bad taste in their mouth. This movie is in no way candy coated and has a much more honest outlook on drug use and abuse. Unlike half baked and white castle, a lot of the humour touches on the seedy underbelly of substance abuse, if you cant laugh at crackheads of speedfreaks then this movie is not for you. Lastly the running gag jokes in this film are just great, it plays on the same sort of comedy style featured in arrested development and the likes. If you have seen this movie and sort of liked it, i recommend watching it again.. I hope to see more of this type of film in the future.
