This film is about a man wanting to leave his past behind by moving to a small town with his niece and his mentally retarded brother.
It is such a beautiful film. The plot is excellent. The interwoven scenes of past and present reveal the story slowly, and convincingly. The characters are built well, and I care for them a lot. Charo's character is particularly affecting, her manipulation towards men is almost scary. The relationship between Juan, Damian and Tamara is delicate, and is handled well in the film. The transition from doubt to trust between Juan and Sara is moving. I am surprised that there are only 48 votes for this film. It is a beautiful film, and I think it deserves a larger audience.
