Storyline

Bokustsu tenshi Dokuro-chan, aka Club-to-Death Angel Dokuro-chan, is about a boy named Sakura Kusakabe who lives with an angel named Dokuro(or Dokuro-chan as they call her). Dokuro's like any normal angel, she uses magical powers to turn people into animals, she likes to torture people, oh, and she carries around a spiked metal bat that she beats people to death with, of course using her magical "Pipiru piru piru pipiru pi" spell to revive them again. Sakura has to worry enough with Dokuro-chan killing him all the time, but there's also other angels planning to kill him without reviving him again. Can he avoid his ill-fated demise? This is bad, like, REALLY bad
11 November 2014 | by See all my reviews

This is one of many shows on here that have higher ratings then they should have. Now, I know this show has its fans, and I can understand that, but I still think this anime is pretty terrible.

For one, the theme song gets irritating after a while due to the fact that one of the main lyrics is the equally annoying revival song Dokuro sings. Speaking of Dokuro, she's annoying as all ghetto, and she isn't funny. The majority of the jokes are pretty much gross-out that starts to get repetitive after a while. One common running gag is Dokuro smashing people's heads and blood showering out. Why its amusing the first time, it becomes quite frankly disgusting. The anime's "story" is very retarded (Guy invents something that makes girls not age past 12? And people thought Love Loaf and Fresh Heir promoted pedophilia?) and there are major inconsistencies.

Dokuro's sister looks to be in her mid-teens at least, but how old is she? 9. Freaking beautiful. And also her power of turning people's faces into stock-image monkeys reminds me a lot of that awful cartoon Uncle Grandpa. Overall, this show has unlikeable characters, disgusting humor, and it promotes pedophilia (lolicon) for comedy. The only good thing I can say about it (And the only reason why I didn't rate it a 1) is that the animation is pretty decent (Except for the stock-image monkey) and the character designs are actually pretty cute.

(And most of the time adult cartoons have ratings above a F+ (unless their name is The Cleveland Show or The Nutshack). I still have no idea why junk like this, Ren and Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon, Xavier: Renegade Angel and Mr. Pickles have absurdly high ratings (Or at least, way higher than they should probably be))
