Trivia

Christopher Lee was lined up to play "Mr. Heinrichson", having established a working rapport with director James Breese on a prior project. However, mere days before the start of the shoot, Lee became ill, and the part of Heinrichson went to Nicholas Amer, who was originally cast as "Weathered Face", a role which was then recast. An very impressive piece of film-making from a young director
5 January 2007 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

It's extraordinary to think that this film was made on a budget of less than £30,000. The cinematography, sound track, colour grading are all at least as good as you would expect to see in a movie theatre. The storyline is solid and thoughtful - it's great to see a young director really pulling people together and producing something genuinely worthwhile. More than anything, the film feels mature - it has the right pace, and the various plot elements are woven together in a well thought out way so that they convey meaning without confusing the viewer, which is a problem that a lot of young film makers seem often to have. All-in-all, very well done indeed Mr Breese.
