6 hours ago | Gold Derby | See recent Gold Derby news »

Did you predict this week's shocking results on "Dancing With the Stars"? No, of course you didn't. Neither did we. It almost goes without saying that none of our users answered all three of this week's questions correctly. High and low score? No problem. But that elimination can safely be described as the season's most baffling surprise. If you somehow did see it coming, you should use your incredible psychic powers immediately by entering our "DWTS" predictions contest for a chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card. -Break- Nastia Liukin had the night's highest score, and Chris Soules and Robert Herjavec tied for the lowest score. Those were perfectly in line with our racetrack odds, which were based on the consensus of our users' predictions. As for the elimination, we had expected two contestants to be sent home this week, but Tom Bergeron announced at the start of the show »

‘Dancing With the Stars’ Delivers Shocking Blow to Fan Favorite

6 hours ago | The Wrap | See recent The Wrap news »

(Spoiler alert: Please do not read on if you haven’t watched Monday’s episode of “Dancing With the Stars”)  The odds were not in this “Dancing With the Stars” contestant’s favor on Monday night as 14-year-old “Hunger Games” actress Willow Shields was the latest to get the ax. Season 20’s youngest contestant and dance pro Mark Ballas were ninja warriors for a futuristic jazz routine that failed to connect with the judges, possibly because their faces were covered throughout. After delivering the crushing blow of rejection, host Tom Bergeron immediately transformed into a father figure to hug it out with Shields, »

7 hours ago | ChannelGuideMag | See recent ChannelGuideMag news »

Tonight on Dancing With the Stars: “Era Night”, it’s double trouble for two of our couples as two teams face elimination. At least that what Tom announced last week, even though the official release from ABC says only one couple will be eliminated. We’ll just have to see what Tommy B says. And at the top of the show, Tom announces that the double elimination has been moved to next week, so phew! Regardless, each team has been assigned an iconic dance style from a specific period, so let’s see who masters their history. Plus, will Derek’s “Freak Accident” take … Continue reading →

Castle Recap: Sneaks on a Plane

7 hours ago | TVLine.com | See recent TVLine.com news »

First, some disclosure: I love pretty much any thriller set on a plane. Passenger 57, Flightplan, Airport, Executive Decision, Air Force One… Die Hard 2, by extension.

So for that reason, but also others, I kinda loved this hour of Castle, and felt it was easily the best episode since 3Xk’s return.

Dancing With the Stars Week 7 Results: Did the Right Couple Go Home?

8 hours ago | TVLine.com | See recent TVLine.com news »

Dancing With the Stars pulled a fast one on us in a number of ways this Monday night.

First, the dreaded double elimination was postponed by one week, taking quite a bit of suspense out of one of the season’s most eventful shows.

Then, in a results shocker that was, perhaps, not entirely unfair but certainly unexpected, one of Season 20’s frontrunners was sent packing in a flurry of tears and hugs from the other contestants.

But that’s enough suspense. Let’s get right to the highlights of Monday’s “Eras Night” broadcast, which found each couple dancing »

Dancing With the Stars Week 7 Recap: Derek Hough Sidelined for Shocking Elimination

Dancing With the Stars sashayed through history during week 7 with Eras Night. All seven remaining couples performed routines to songs from different time periods, ranging from the roaring '20s to "the future" (that one was a little tricky). The powers-that-be shook things up tonight too, yanking the double-elimination and adding in a dance-off that enabled pairs to battle each other for bonus points. What's more, it was decided that the couple who earned tonight's highest score received immunity from elimination -- and that couple was [...] »

When I decided to do "Dancing With The Stars," I knew it was a reality show, but I’m used to working on movies where nothing is very real. Kevin Spacey Praises the Power of Storytelling at MPTF’s Reel Stories, Real Lives
