Consider this a formal Apb for Nashville‘s Connie Britton.

Because although the musical ABC series’ second On the Record special — which aired Wednesday — is great, it could be so much greater if our favorite redhead took part in the live music goodies in some fashion.*

In short: I want Rayna’s real-life counterpart on stage, y’all.

CBS and Fox tied for the lead among adults 25-54 (2.0/7) while the Eye won easily in total viewers (7.2 million to 6.2 million for runner-up ABC).

At Fox, “Empire” capped its amazing first season by continuing its streak of growing audience with each episode since its Jan. 7 premiere and standing as the week’s most-watched show for the first time.  It actually claimed the top two spots because Fox broke »

'Dancing with the Stars' poll: Who was the best on 'My Jam Monday'?

"Dancing With the Stars" continued its 20th season with "My Jam Monday," when the contestants danced to some of their favorite songs. Most of the celebs stepped up their game and improved from the premiere episode, but while there were plenty of hits (including top-scorer Nastia Liukin), there was one catastrophic miss (Chris Soules, getting the lowest judges' score of the season). -Break- However, maybe you think that Soules, despite his low score, was actually the high point of the evening with his cha cha routine. Or perhaps double-amputee Noah Galloway blew you away with his perseverance even though he was third from the bottom on the leaderboard. Monday Ratings: ‘Night Shift,’ ‘The Following’ Edge Up From Lows

24 March 2015 9:08 AM, PDT | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

There wasn’t a lot of movement in Monday’s ratings race, which saw NBC prevail again in key demos thanks to the night’s top show, “The Voice.” Also of note, ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” held up well in its second week and a pair of dramas that hit lows in recent weeks, NBC’s “The Night Shift” and Fox’s “The Following,” both edged up.

According to preliminary “live plus same-day” national estimates from Nielsen, “The Voice” averaged a 3.3 rating/10 share in adults 18-49 and 11.9 million viewers overall from 8 to 10 p.m., on par with last week and beating both ABC and CBS by 4 shares in the demo. At 10 p.m., “The Night Shift” (1.6/5 in 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall) was up from last week and was competitive in the demo with its drama competitors on ABC and CBS; it typically is revised down in the nationals, »
