Quite an interesting B-movie.

If your looking for a Hollywood blockbuster, this probably isn't the right movie but for those looking for an intense, emotional film its a great film to watch. The movie is about two separate families. One family has their daughter return home from rehab after a horrible incident that left her without arms and paralyzed from the waist down. The other is an elderly couple that have an extremely depressing relationship, the husband is a silent artist that you can feel there is something severely disturbing about and the wife is deeply sad over her daughter whose been missing for years. The movie slowly and methodically develops the connection between the two families and the dark, underlying secret that caused such devastation. In the end exposing the great evil that can be behind the white picket fence. Douglas Buck makes the best out of a dollar menu budget for this film. The characters are slow to speak and very solemn, giving an eerie, depressing mood, the whole movie gives you this feel that there is something extremely ominous underlying everything. What I really liked about this movie is that almost every part connects with the overall meaning of the film, like the way everything in a short story connects together at the end. Even without blood and violence, this is a deep, disturbing film. My biggest point of interest in this film was that as I was watching I was thinking, this really looks like my neighborhood and I was surprised there was somewhere out there that looked so strikingly similar and then I came to find out that it was in my neighborhood and town. Its interesting how Buck made such a suburban place as Long Island look so rural.

The first in this series, Cutting Moments, is quite good. The second, Home is good, not great. But this one is completely worthless please just watch the first 2 and skip this one altogether!
